In preparation for Fired Up, Contemporary Works in Clay 2016 exhibition, ‘Art of Earth’, 15 artists gathered on Denman Island at Gordon Hutchen’s huge Anagama kiln to fire 3 days and 3 nights. The results were amazing and the days spent loading, stoking, watching, and chopping wood was truly so fun.
